Rich Chocolate Cake with Silky Cream Filling
Ingredients
For the chocolate cake:
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla powder
For the creamy topping:
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- ½ cup heavy cream
Method
- Set your oven to 180°C (350°F) and lightly grease a bundt pan or any cake mold you prefer.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs together with the sugar until the texture becomes light and smooth.
- Pour in the vegetable oil, milk, and vanilla powder, stirring until everything blends nicely.
- Add the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder little by little, mixing gently until the batter is soft and lump-free.
- Transfer the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- While the cake is baking, prepare the cream filling by placing the condensed milk, butter, and heavy cream in a saucepan over low heat. Stir continuously until the mixture thickens into a smooth, rich cream.
- Once the cake is out of the oven and still warm, pour the creamy topping over it, allowing it to seep into the cake for extra moisture and flavor.
- Let it cool slightly, slice it up, and enjoy every soft, chocolatey bite.
