Ingredients:
- 2 fish fillets (salmon, cod, or tilapia work great)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, finely minced
- 1 fresh lemon (half sliced, half squeezed for juice)
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano or thyme
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Method:
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- Place the fish fillets in the prepared dish and drizzle them with olive oil.
- In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Spread the seasoning mixture evenly over each fish fillet, making sure they’re fully coated.
- Arrange the lemon slices on top and around the fish for extra flavor while baking.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets, until the fish is tender and flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving, if desired.
Serve warm with roasted vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad for a light and flavorful meal.
