Chocolate Orange Bundt Cake
Ingredients
- 2½ cups all-purpose flour
- 10 g baking powder
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- ½ cup warm water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
For the Chocolate Glaze
- 1 cup milk chocolate, melted
Method
- Set your oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a bundt pan well.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
- Pour in the orange juice, oil, warm water, and vanilla.
- Stir gently until the batter becomes smooth and lump-free.
- Transfer the mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for a few minutes, then remove and let it cool completely.
- Finish by pouring the melted chocolate over the top for a rich, glossy touch.
Serving Tip
For extra orange flavor, add a little zest to the batter or sprinkle it over the chocolate before serving.
